The Master of Arts in Spirituality, Culture and Health program equips students with:
Understanding of how spirituality, culture, and religion influence patient care and perspectives on the body, wellness, and disease.
Skills to apply and teach practical methods for navigating religious, spiritual, and cultural differences in healthcare and social service environments.
In-depth knowledge of how faith, spirituality, and cultural backgrounds affect interactions between patients and caregivers, as well as healing processes within the U.S. healthcare system.
Capability to serve as an advisor to organizations or communities regarding these matters.
A completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
