The interconnected global economy and shifting U.S. demographic trends make Latin American studies expertise valuable across various academic disciplines. This major compels students to examine the region through diverse academic lenses while allowing them to concentrate on one of three core areas: historical studies, economic/political/business studies, or linguistic/literary/cultural studies, all enhanced by interdisciplinary methodologies.
All applicants are reviewed individually and holistically. Consideration is given to factors such as:
