Saint Louis University's accelerated American studies bachelor's/master's program enables high-achieving majors to start graduate coursework during their senior year. Students can earn their M.A. by dedicating a fifth year to full-time graduate studies after fulfilling initial requirements and completing their undergraduate degree. The American studies major, similar to other humanities programs, demands 30 credit hours, with the M.A. requiring 30 additional credits. By applying 12 credits from four graduate courses toward both degrees, students can complete the remaining requirements in just 12-14 months post-bachelor's degree.
