The college awards both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences across four specialized tracks. The Pharmacology and Toxicology concentration examines disease mechanisms and their pharmaceutical treatments, along with the toxic effects of environmental substances. Investigative areas encompass high blood pressure, arthritis biomarkers and therapies, environmental and metal toxicity, pharmacogenomics, epigenetic factors, medication interactions, liver responses to neurochemicals, hormonal gene regulation in breast cancer, metabolic processes, drug transportation systems, and cellular signaling blockers.
