Students who complete the MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences will gain specialized knowledge in developing and implementing research approaches to address the changing demands of pharmaceutical, biomedical, and academic research settings. The program covers the entire spectrum of drug and biologic development, from early-stage discovery (computational modeling, synthesis of novel compounds, and molecular analysis) through screening, formulation, clinical trial analytical support, pharmacogenomic assessments, metabolite studies, and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic evaluations.
This degree is administered through the Jefferson College of Pharmacy (JCP) and delivered jointly with the Jefferson College of Life Sciences. The 34-credit curriculum offers flexible full-time or part-time enrollment options, with both thesis and non-thesis pathways available to students.
