The Experimental Therapeutics track aims to educate scientists with comprehensive knowledge in preclinical and clinical pharmaceutical sciences, enabling them to successfully transition new therapeutic agents into clinical practice.

Graduate students in this program investigate diverse research areas including cancer biomarkers, neuropharmacology of substances like MDMA, stroke and epilepsy studies, neurotoxicity research, cancer pharmacokinetics, and drug metabolism processes.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants with an undergraduate degree in chemistry, biology, engineering, or related fields from an accredited institution are eligible to apply for our full-time, research-intensive MS program in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Similarly, those with a completed professional degree like PharmD, MD, or DVM also meet eligibility requirements. Admission to our competitive program, which offers supervised, full-time research training, is based on a selective process.
A US bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university or an equivalent degree from foreign country
A grade point average GPA of at least 3.00 or foreign equivalent
A Graduate Record Examination GRE score of at least 290-3.0 obtained within the past 5 years
TOEFL: minimum score of 80 iBT
In-person and at-home (online) exam scores accepted. TOEFL Essentials and My Best Test scores are not accepted.
IELTS: minimum score of 6.5 overall band
In-person and at-home (online) exam scores accepted. One Skill Retake is not accepted.
Duolingo (DET): minimum score of 110
PTE: minimum score of 54
