Since autumn 2006, our Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy Division has provided a PhD program in Occupational Science. We welcome applications from candidates holding graduate degrees in occupational therapy (such as MS OT or OTD), relevant social/behavioral sciences, or similar disciplines. This doctoral program caters to those aspiring to academic research careers and requires on-campus attendance.

Our Occupational Science PhD program thrives in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary setting. Participants can contribute to faculty-led research projects and gain teaching experience within our MS OT curriculum.
We accept qualified applications from individuals who have completed master’s degrees in occupational therapy, relevant social and behavioral sciences, or related fields.
The required minimum total score on the exams are internet-based TOEFL exam = 90, The IELTS exam = 7.
