The University of New Mexico's (UNM) Master of Science (MS) in Nutrition combined with the Dietetic Internship (DI) program equips students for professional roles in Nutrition and Dietetics, spanning research, clinical practice, community health, and public health sectors. Participants will collaborate with faculty across multiple disciplines including Nutrition, Exercise Science, Health Education, and Public Health, alongside healthcare experts from UNM, the Prevention Research Center, and other UNM Health Sciences facilities. The curriculum blends academic study with hands-on training, covering specialized topics such as advanced medical nutrition therapy, research methodologies, lifespan nutrition, pediatric and maternal health, disordered eating, and obesity management.
