This program provides educators with a pathway to start graduate studies directly connected to the instructional methods and school reforms they're implementing. The Response to Intervention (RTI) approach is embedded in educational policy via the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, creating growing demand for RTI training across school districts. Offered through the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education, this certificate enables teachers working with RTI programs to obtain formal acknowledgment of their specialized skills. The curriculum additionally establishes an RTI framework that can be applied to advanced studies in other subject areas within the graduate program.
