We aim to cultivate leaders across academic, governmental, and industrial sectors both domestically and worldwide. Our undergraduate and graduate curricula place significant emphasis on international scientific collaboration, social-cultural exchange, and the evolving needs of the global healthcare market. Graduate research concentrates on three primary domains: neural/cognitive/rehabilitation engineering, biomedical imaging, and bionanoscience.
Our program's core objective is to foster leadership in academic, public, and private sectors at national and international levels. The curriculum underscores the value of worldwide scientific partnerships, sociocultural engagement, and the shifting requirements of the healthcare industry. Graduate studies target three key fields: neuroengineering (including cognitive and rehabilitation applications), medical imaging technologies, and bionanoscience.
The MSBE Program provides both thesis and non-thesis options. The thesis-based MSBE is research-focused, requiring students to choose a faculty mentor early in their studies, as this advisor relationship is essential for successful degree completion.
