Biomedical engineering applies engineering concepts and techniques to address challenges in healthcare and life sciences. This field encompasses researching biological and physiological mechanisms, investigating disease diagnosis and treatment methods, as well as creating medical technologies and procedures. The curriculum includes mathematics, biological sciences, biomedical engineering courses, and other scientific and engineering subjects aligned with program goals.
The preferred undergraduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.20.
A baccalaureate degree in engineering or in a physical or biological science is required.
