The Master of Arts in Educational Policy, delivered by the Education Policy Studies and Practice Department within the College of Education, equips students with knowledge of education policy development and implementation while enhancing their ability to interpret data and shape policies. Graduates with expertise in education policy can pursue diverse career paths, including roles as Research and Evaluation Analysts in school systems, Research Directors for state policy organizations, or positions in K-12 and higher education institutions. This program prepares individuals from various backgrounds—such as educators, school administrators, university staff, community stakeholders, and prospective doctoral candidates—to actively participate in policy formation. Flexible course options (evening classes, online formats, hybrid models) cover essential subjects like research methodologies and key education policy issues, along with specialized electives in areas such as language policy, educational privatization, legal frameworks, public policy, and other relevant fields.
