The M.F.A. in Theater/Directing cultivates visionary directors who excel as creative communicators and artistic leaders. Students learn to interpret scripts by delving into character development while working closely with playwrights, performers, and production teams to create cohesive, powerful theatrical experiences. Temple's School of Theater, Film and Media Arts offers this three-year, 60-credit Master of Fine Arts in Directing to shape skilled storytellers. Through collaboration with actors, writers, and technical crews, students craft unified, impactful performances. This program primarily equips graduates for professional theater careers.
