The Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Community Engagement equips students to positively impact lives by shaping organizational programs, policies, and initiatives. This program develops competencies to support individuals' intellectual, physical, and social growth, with a focus on urban populations. Students obtain real-world experience through an extended practicum and internship, directly assisting local community members. The versatile, multidisciplinary curriculum explores diverse approaches to drive personal and societal transformation, including studies in communication, instructional design, developmental psychology, assessment methods, and urban community dynamics. To customize their education, students select from four specialization tracks: Applied Behavior Analysis, Community Education, Human Services, or Non-Profit Management and Social Entrepreneurship.
