The Associate in Arts in Studio Arts for Transfer Degree equips students with fundamental knowledge of visual arts vocabulary and concepts, covering both two-dimensional and three-dimensional design along with diverse techniques and mediums. The curriculum examines the interplay of form and content, explores artistic methods from past to present, and encourages individual creative expression.
Graduates earning the AA-T in Studio Arts receive guaranteed benefits for CSU transfer, including junior standing admission, priority consideration for CSU enrollment, and acceptance into studio arts or related programs.
Transfer students to CSU institutions will need a maximum of 60 additional units to obtain their bachelor's degree.
