The Bachelor of Science in Art Education is a joint program with NDSU's School of Education. Graduation requires completing at least 120 credit hours. Our Visual Arts Department attracts students from across all University colleges through its dynamic major and minor offerings. Whether pursued as a main career path or combined with another discipline, art and design represents one of the most adaptable fields of study. Operating from one of the region's premier art and design facilities, our department features eight professional artist-educators who personally instruct all courses. As an exclusively undergraduate program, we prioritize personalized attention, maintain small class sizes, and provide exceptional academic guidance for our students.
