The Department of Economics, Applied Statistics, and International Business provides diverse degree programs. For undergraduates, we have Bachelor of Business Administration options in both economics and international business, along with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. Additionally, students can pursue minors in economics or international business. Our graduate offerings include a Master of Science in Applied Statistics. In collaboration with the Department of Agricultural Economics, we also provide a Master of Arts in Economics and a Doctorate in Economic Development.

A student seeking admission to graduate school at NMSU must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree or an advanced degree from a regionally accredited institution. The academic program of the completed degree should be equivalent to a comparable NMSU degree's requirements.
