Acquire the expertise and techniques to create compelling and accessible educational content for K-12 students, including those with varied learning requirements. The Master of Education in Inspired Teaching and Learning, offering Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential options with an Intern Pathway (CA), caters to educators committed to fostering K-12 students' social-emotional well-being, substantive academic success, and fair, inclusive classroom environments. This curriculum and its courses fulfill the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) standards for obtaining a Preliminary Multiple or Single Subjects teaching credential while also satisfying master's degree criteria. Participants in this program must complete a specialized three-course sequence focused on English Language Learner Education.
Important: Learners must meet/pass the Basic Skills Requirement (such as CBEST) and Subject Matter Competency Requirement (like CSET) early in their program (before starting Credential Area Methods courses) to prevent delays in academic progress and/or financial aid considerations.
