Rooted in Roman Catholic teachings, the Department of Theological Studies encourages students to examine matters of belief, spirituality, and profound purpose within religious frameworks. By engaging in scholarly examination of faith's complexities and diverse interpretations, theology students gain insight into both the inherent worth of religious study and faith's capacity to foster social justice. The Department provides multiple academic pathways: a bachelor's degree in Theology, an undergraduate Theology minor, and two Master of Arts options (Theology and Pastoral Theology). The Pastoral Theology MA program incorporates specialized training in ministry and counseling alongside core theological coursework.
