Founded through a partnership with culinary legends Jacques Pépin and Julia Child, Boston University's Metropolitan College (MET) offers a distinctive Master of Arts (MA) in Gastronomy program. This interdisciplinary curriculum bridges the arts, humanities, and natural and social sciences. The Food Policy concentration merges culinary history with advocacy, equipping students with social science tools to shape public food policies. Focus areas include nutrition, food security, social justice, community growth, and ecological preservation.
