The Bachelor of Science in recreation therapy equips students with the essential knowledge and abilities to become entry-level recreational therapists, employing leisure-based interventions to enhance health and wellness. The program trains students to become skilled experiential therapists, harnessing the therapeutic potential of creative arts, adapted sports, aquatic therapy, equine-assisted activities, horticultural therapy, community reintegration, leisure counseling, and guided play.
