Our goal is to explore the nervous system and different neurological conditions. You'll receive mentorship from specialists in areas including sensory systems, synaptic function, and the molecular/cellular basis of learning and memory. Your research will take place in the modern Neuroscience Center, employing diverse methods ranging from molecular biology to electrophysiology and advanced microscopy techniques.
You can pursue either a PhD or MPhil degree. These programs vary in length and research scope.

A PhD requires significant original research that advances knowledge in your field.
An MPhil involves independent research with less depth than a PhD, culminating in a Master of Philosophy degree. There may be opportunities to transition from an MPhil to a PhD during your studies.
