This collaborative PhD program forms part of a groundbreaking transCampus initiative - the first such partnership in Europe - bringing together two prestigious institutions: King's College London and Technische Universit√§t Dresden. Both universities excel in psychiatry, psychology, and neuroscience research, leading advancements from fundamental neuroscience to clinical applications. By merging their strengths, this program aims to drive forward shared research priorities.

Students enrolled through KCL will access the world-class research facilities at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) while participating in a rotation program with TUD partner labs. As affiliated TUD members, they'll complete a research period at the Dresden campus, with duration determined by their supervisors.

Qualification Requirements

Standard PhD entry requirements: Applicants should have a Bachelors degree with 2:1 honours (or overseas equivalent). A 2:2 degree may be considered only where applicants also offer a Masters with Merit.

IELTS (Academic) - 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill.
TOEFL iBT - 92 overall with a minimum of 23 in writing and 20 in each of the other skills.
Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 62 overall with a minimum of 59 in each communicative skill.
