The Department of Neuroscience, Psychology, and Behavior is globally recognized for its outstanding research. We provide PhD and MPhil supervision aligned with our faculty's expertise, covering fields such as: Health and wellness, Decision-making processes, Visual perception and linguistics, Animal behavior mechanisms, and Neural systems. Doctoral candidates undertake an independent research initiative with support from a supervisory panel. Typically, full-time students complete their research within 3.0-3.5 years, while part-time students have 6.0-6.5 years. An additional year (full-time) or seventh year (part-time) may be used for thesis preparation. The dissertation, limited to 50,000 words, must present original findings worthy of publication. Candidates must successfully defend their thesis in an oral examination to earn their degree.
