The School currently has around 80 research students enrolled in our structured PhD and D.Ed. programs. We hold a prominent position in Irish educational research while also building a significant global reputation. Our research spans diverse fields such as: primary and secondary education policy and practice, higher education strategies, inclusive learning approaches, STEM education, linguistic and creative arts instruction, as well as technological advancements in teaching methodologies.
Postgraduate work in Trinity College Dublin is very academically challenging and as a result the University has high academic entry requirements. Applicants will need to hold at least a 2.1 honors degree from an Irish university or equivalent result from a university in another country; a fluent command of the English language. Display a high level of competence in the English language in one of the examination systems recognised by Trinity College Dublin.
