Students enrolled in the Traditional PhD program at the School of Education pursue an in-depth doctoral research project designed to produce novel, publishable advancements in their field. This program offers flexible full-time or part-time study options. Participants engage in educational research aligned with the School's key focus areas. The research is organized around two main clusters: 1) Diversity and Inclusion in Education, and 2) Technology-enhanced Learning, covering topics such as higher education accessibility, teacher training diversity, special needs education, gender studies in education, educational leadership, mobile learning technologies, and STEM education. We welcome applications from qualified candidates whose research proposals connect with the School's ongoing projects in these areas.
Education PhD candidates gain access to specialized doctoral seminars and workshops, available to all enrolled students regardless of study mode. Each student receives guidance from a dedicated supervisor and benefits from the oversight of a Graduate Research Committee (GRC) throughout their doctoral journey.
