To earn an MSc degree, candidates must successfully develop a thesis proposal, complete their thesis, and defend it. Additionally, they must fulfill all coursework obligations. Each student is assigned an Advisory Committee that offers support, guidance, and regular progress assessments to facilitate degree completion. Full-time students must present their proposed thesis research to their committee by the end of their third term (sixth term for part-time students). The minimum full-time enrollment requirement is 2 terms, with a maximum of 6 terms (2 years). Extensions require submitting a Petition of Extension with a proposed completion timeline.
