IMS also participates in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Clinical Investigator Program (CIP).
Our Institute provides dynamic Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy programs spanning fundamental sciences, clinical research, and public health studies. Working with expert faculty advisors, students benefit from tailored training and exposure to Toronto's most advanced cross-disciplinary research initiatives. Graduates frequently attain influential positions as scholars and healthcare experts within academic institutions, government bodies, and corporate sectors. Biomedical Communication represents a unique interdisciplinary field combining art, science, medicine, and communication principles. Canada's only program of its kind, the Master of Science in Biomedical Communication (MScBMC) ranks among four globally accredited programs in this specialty. Through its two-year curriculum, the MScBMC Program trains students in developing and assessing various visual communication tools, from medical illustrations and media design to animations and virtual simulations.
