The acquisition, instruction, and practice of Indigenous, official, international/heritage, and sign languages and literacies, Curriculum design, teaching methods, and evaluation for first and additional language development and K-12 literacy skills, The cultivation of bilingual, multilingual, and translinguistic competencies,
Language and literacy policy development and implementation, Teaching approaches focused on multiliteracies, encompassing early literacy, adolescent reading and writing, oral language development, and integrating children's literature across subjects, Equity considerations in plurilingualism and cultural/linguistic diversity, and The educational implications of language and literacy integration in linguistically diverse learning environments.
