The Master of Arts in Cultural Resource Management (CRM) equips students with essential skills, methodologies, and theoretical knowledge for professional archaeology careers, particularly in Alberta's cultural resource management sector and beyond. This major also prepares graduates to lead their own firms and initiatives.

The curriculum includes 9.0 to 18.0 credit hours of graduate coursework, a co-op semester, and a thesis. Built on a cooperative education framework, it blends hands-on fieldwork with academic study and research.

Participants develop archaeological expertise applicable both locally and globally, acquiring versatile academic and professional competencies for diverse archaeological settings.

Combining interdisciplinary theoretical perspectives with practical application, the program features coursework, thesis development, and a distinctive co-op structure where students gain industry experience. Cooperative education and internship options offer paid work placements in relevant professional environments.
