The Sexualities, Genders and Social Change program examines the wide-ranging scope of academic research on human identity, physical being, and personal expression. This interdisciplinary curriculum investigates frameworks from feminist theory, postcolonial and decolonial scholarship, transnational perspectives, LGBTQ+ and queer studies, critical race analysis, indigenous research, masculinity studies, and disability studies, among other fields. Learners interact with content and approaches spanning Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business disciplines, acquiring essential competencies to become transformative leaders promoting social justice in the modern era.

Qualification Requirements

If you are applying with an IB Diploma from outside of Canada, you should present a minimum score of 28. Many programs will require a higher score for admission consideration. Reported bonus points from TOK and EE will be taken into consideration. The secondary school graduation certificate which would admit a student to an internationally recognized university in his or her home country is normally acceptable for admission to the University of Guelph.
