This program offers you the chance to interact with and gain insights from distinguished professors, both locally and globally. You'll develop core understanding of criminology and how the Criminal Justice System operates, while also delving into specialized areas like prison studies, elite crimes, cultural aspects of crime, and community-based interventions.
In your final year, you can focus on subjects that interest you through three pathways: standard coursework, practical internships, or academic research. Opting for our distinctive research track allows you to join four specialized seminars led by faculty experts, where you'll undertake independent research projects with their guidance.

Qualification Requirements
You must have an Ontario high school diploma with at least six 4U-4M or DU-level courses to be eligible for admission to the first year of university. Please note:
All the courses that are prerequisites for your chosen program must be 4U-level courses, unless otherwise indicated.
We use your top six interim or final grades in 4U, 4M, or DU courses, including the prerequisites for your chosen program, to calculate your admission average. We do not round up your grades.
International baccalaureate diploma
Applicants enrolled in the International Baccalaureatenorth_eastexternal link Diploma program are eligible for admission if they have completed (or are in the process of completing) the full IB program and meet the following conditions:
Have passed six subjects (including the prerequisites for your program of choice) with at least three at the Standard Level and three at the Higher Level.
Have a minimum average of 29 points. The minimum average might be higher depending on the program you have chosen.
IELTS - overall score 6.5 with minimum writing section score 6.5
TOEFL - IBT - Overall Score 86 with writing section score 22.
