Both History and Classics feature multiple program options, each offering diverse specializations across geographical regions, themes, and methodologies. Prospective students should visit the Department's website to explore faculty research specialties.

For Classics, we provide two course-based MA programs: Classical Languages (Greek, Latin, and Classical Studies) with optional focuses on classical literature or ancient history, and Classical Archaeology, which includes fieldwork opportunities. The PhD in Classics is available in both Classical Languages (a comprehensive program) and Classical Archaeology.

In History, students can pursue a course-based MA, thesis-based MA, or PhD. The department supports graduate research across numerous historical fields and topics—visit our website for specific information.
