Elevate your environmental enthusiasm through the Forestry Technician – Conservation program. This two-year, field-focused curriculum provides practical training in vital natural resource management techniques.
Develop expertise in gathering ecological data and recognizing distinctive ecosystem features. Study forest-threatening insects and organisms while learning safe control methods. Utilize cutting-edge GPS technology and specialized equipment to explore Ontario's Great Lakes region, your expansive outdoor classroom.
Ontario Secondary School diploma with Grade 12 English (C) ENG4C or mature student status.
Results must be from within two years of the start of the program and must meet the following minimum requirements:
Application Deadlines:
To be considered on an equal basis for programs beginning in the fall, your application must be received no later than February 1.
After February 1, applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, provided there are still vacancies in the program(s) of your choice.
For programs beginning in January, the equal consideration deadline is October 1.
