The Master's in Clinical Vision Science Program spans two years, comprising 7 and 12 course credits respectively, along with two extensive clinical practicums and a vision research thesis. Successful candidates receive an MSc in Clinical Vision Science, which incorporates a dual Graduate Diploma in Orthoptics and Ophthalmic Medical Technology.
Diploma alternative: While all applicants must initially enroll in the Master’s Program, they can choose to graduate with just the Graduate Diploma after finishing all coursework and clinical training, excluding the thesis requirement (VISC 9000.00).
Instruction combines classroom lectures on theoretical concepts with hands-on laboratory sessions and guided clinical practice. The curriculum progresses systematically, building upon foundational knowledge while developing increasingly sophisticated professional competencies.
Admission requirements for the MSc in Clinical Vision Science include a bachelor’s degree with honours or a bachelor’s degree with 4 years of undergraduate study from a recognized institution of higher education with a minimum of B average (GPA 3.0).

The application deadline is March 1st.
