The Master of Professional Psychology (MProfPsych) is a fifth-year psychology program available to students who have completed an APAC-accredited fourth-year psychology degree.
This one-year full-time MProfPsych program offers psychology graduates advanced training in professional practice, equipping them for their subsequent supervised practice year before obtaining general registration as Psychologists.
Through the MProfPsych curriculum, students develop and showcase their competencies across all eight essential professional attributes and capabilities. The program features both simulated practicum experiences and external placements, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in professional settings and refine their practical skills.

Qualification Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the course an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites
a Bachelor degree with Honours in an accredited Psychology course with a minimum of Honours IIB completed in the last 10 years
OR
a Bachelor degree with accredited 4thyear equivalent major study in Psychology with performance deemed of the same level as Honours IIB completed in the last 10 years
AND
demonstrated suitability to undertake the course as evidenced by satisfactory
academic referee report
professional referee report AND
for shortlisted candidates interview with the selection committee
AND
be eligible for provisional registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
Applicants must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy and require an academic IELTS minimum overall score of 7.0 with a minimum score of 7.0 in all bands
