Tailored for graduates who have finished a Masters by coursework or an Honours Bachelor degree, our Master of Philosophy is entirely research-based and spans two years of full-time study. With mentorship from an experienced research supervisor, you'll conceptualize, design, and execute your own independent research project on a subject you're deeply passionate about. The program offers the freedom to explore topics aligned with your personal interests and professional field. This self-guided degree has no mandatory classes or coursework. Instead, you'll meet progress milestones to ensure steady advancement toward completing your thesis or creative output. Your academic journey will culminate in producing a significant thesis or creative work with accompanying analysis, followed by an oral defense before an examination panel. Recognizing the challenges of juggling studies with work, family, and other responsibilities, we've structured our Master of Philosophy to accommodate diverse schedules.
