This program equips registered Psychologists to work as educational and developmental specialists across diverse environments such as schools, healthcare facilities, corporate settings, and private practices. Designed to enhance your expertise, the curriculum fosters evidence-based practice while building advanced theoretical knowledge, research capabilities, and clinical skills essential for this specialization. The course includes 750 hours of supervised fieldwork, requiring 2-3 days weekly placement under the guidance of accredited professionals. You'll cultivate sophisticated critical thinking skills to analyze and apply psychological principles in both practice and research. The Master of Advanced Educational and Developmental Psychology holds accreditation from the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. Following two additional years of supervised practice, graduates qualify for endorsement as Educational and Developmental Psychologists through the Psychology Board of Australia.
