Qualification Requirements

An applicant to the Stage Management department submits a statement of purpose, resum, three (3) letters of recommendation, and an academic transcript. An applicant can have an undergraduate theatre or liberal arts concentration or an equivalent in practical experience. The Admissions Committee reviews all applications and invites qualified candidates for one or two interviews conducted virtually. Candidates who are invited to interview may be asked to submit production paperwork, respond in writing to a prompt, discuss their ethos regarding inclusion and equity, and/or prepare a first rehearsal or tech talk. Candidates who are admitted and accept an invitation to study will be invited to campus for a Stage Management Program Admitted Students Day.
