This 18-credit Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion certificate, available as an independent qualification or integrated within a degree program, equips students to effectively engage with diverse populations while examining and addressing the requirements of a multifaceted society. Learners will experience transformative educational approaches that explore various aspects of diversity through courses such as Foundations of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Advocacy for Social Justice; Cross-Cultural Psychology; and Diversity Management. Develop the ability to implement DEI principles in both personal endeavors and professional projects. Through this certificate program, you'll enhance critical thinking, leadership, and program design capabilities via curriculum focused on cooperative learning, strategic planning, relationship building, effective communication, community engagement, and cultural awareness.
