The Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics program equips students for academic, industrial, or governmental roles in teaching and research. Through coursework and practical experiences, participants gain expertise in both theoretical statistics and multiple applied statistical fields. The flexible elective options enable customization to align with diverse professional goals. This 65-credit program includes 50 credits of academic study and 15 credits dedicated to dissertation research.
A student must possess a bachelors or master’s degree with a substantial number of statistics and/or probability credits in order to be admitted to the program.
