The Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Evaluation program at Western Michigan University aims to cultivate evaluation experts and scholars with comprehensive understanding of evaluation theories, methods, and applications, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. The curriculum fosters future leaders in evaluation who excel at designing, implementing, analyzing, and assessing evaluation projects.
This unique global program operates across disciplines through The Evaluation Center, with participation from the colleges of Arts and Sciences, Education and Human Development, Engineering and Applied Sciences, and Health and Human Services. Students receive their doctoral degrees from their respective home colleges rather than from individual departments or The Evaluation Center.
