The Nutrition and Dietetics degree program aims to equip graduates with the essential knowledge needed to enter supervised practice programs, ultimately qualifying them to take the CDR certification exam for becoming registered dietitian nutritionists. The coursework fosters students' intellectual development, personal growth, and professional advancement while instilling a commitment to continuous learning. ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics), based at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics headquarters (120 Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606, phone: (800) 877-1600), accredits this program. To graduate, students must complete both the accredited Nutrition and Dietetics major requirements and the University's general graduation criteria.
