MPSI boasts an extensive legacy in providing cutting-edge infant mental health (IMH) education. The IMH Dual-Title Degree (IMH-DT) equips current Wayne State University graduate students with comprehensive expertise in both IMH research and clinical application. Program graduates emerge as either research-savvy clinicians skilled at interpreting and evaluating studies to meet the needs of diverse families, or as practice-oriented researchers with enhanced understanding of real-world applications and community service requirements.

For students in programs without the IMH-DT option, opportunities exist to take IMH classes and join faculty research teams. Furthermore, graduate learners from other institutions can register for our courses while earning credits at their home university, and bachelor's degree holders may participate as non-degree seeking students.
