The Bachelor of Fine Arts program is ideal for students aiming to build a professional artistic career or pursue advanced graduate studies.

Intensive focus and practical training in one of eight specialized fields is combined with faculty guidance and chances to interact with guest artists. Every semester, you'll consult with WSU professors to review your progress, refine concepts, and gain valuable insights to guide your artistic development.

The BFA culminates in a solo thesis exhibition during your last semester. You'll collaborate with two faculty mentors to create a presentation of work produced throughout your studies. This exhibition also allows you to undertake more substantial projects and compile a portfolio for graduate program submissions.

Preparing and displaying your artwork in our gallery spaces provides crucial real-world experience for emerging artists.
