A Bachelor of Science in Arts and Entertainment Technologies (AET) prepares graduates with the technical skills to craft impactful experiences across physical and digital platforms. Throughout the program, students develop their creative storytelling abilities in areas like visualization, audio, gaming, live production technologies, and immersive media.
The curriculum progresses from foundational courses to advanced classes, electives, and capstone projects. An AET degree typically spans 8 semesters, aligning with The University of Texas at Austin's core requirements. Students can enrich their education through industry-focused collaborative courses, dual degrees, minors, interdisciplinary certificates, plus involvement in student groups, organizations, and special programming.
If you are an international applicant, you must have completed an accredited secondary school series equivalent to that of a U.S. high school.
Minimum scores acceptable for admission are:
TOEFL: 79 (internet-based test)
IELTS: An overall band of 6.5 on the Academic Examination
