With this vision, the MSLFS program in Entomology aims to create an inclusive space for new graduate students while establishing a robust base of insect science understanding. We strive to equip learners with competencies that enable advanced doctoral studies or careers in entomology-related professions. The curriculum delivers cutting-edge teaching through classroom, lab, and outdoor experiences, blending theoretical and hands-on learning. Our Department focuses on solving arthropod-related challenges by leveraging expertise in disease-carrying insects, eco-friendly pest control, species diversity, and sustainable practices, while upholding our land grant commitment to investigation, education, outreach, and community engagement.
