With this vision, the Entomology Department's PhD program aims to immerse graduate students in comprehensive entomological research and knowledge dissemination, preparing them for specialized or leadership roles in insect-related professions. The curriculum delivers cutting-edge education through classroom, lab, and fieldwork, offering hands-on learning in both practical and theoretical contexts. Our Department focuses on developing solutions for arthropod-related challenges by leveraging expertise in disease-carrying insects, eco-friendly pest control, species diversity, and environmental conservation, while upholding our land grant commitment to investigation, education, outreach, and community engagement.
