The Department offers a globally renowned graduate program for both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Students can pursue advanced studies across diverse fields including integrated pest management, molecular biology, toxicology, ecology, medical-veterinary entomology, and more. Graduates typically advance to Ph.D. programs, postdoctoral roles, academic careers, government or NGO positions, and private sector opportunities.
For the Ph.D., candidates must complete 90 credits post-bachelor's degree, or a minimum of 60 credits after earning an M.S. (which includes a research thesis), with at least 30 credits dedicated to dissertation work. Those holding a relevant M.S. may transfer up to 30 credits from their previous degree toward the doctoral requirements.
