Valpo's Electrical Engineering students gain comprehensive knowledge of the discipline while having opportunities to focus on specialties like renewable energy, electric vehicles, and wireless communications. Most mandatory courses incorporate practical laboratory work, equipping students to address real-world challenges in robotics, mechatronics, and control systems. Applicants are required to have High School graduation.
English language requirements: TOEFL (75 iBT minimum); IELTS (6.0 minimum); iTEP (3.8 or higher); PTE (56 or higher); SAT (Reading & Writing score of 500); ACT (English score of 24); GCE or GCSE English exam (Grade of A or B); IB Higher Level English Exam (Score of 5, 6, or 7 or grade A or B); Completion of at least 2 consecutive years of high school and graduate from a US based high school; Completion of Level 112 at an ELS Language Center.
